The computer was not invented to make your life harder, but it sure does feel like that sometimes, doesn't it? I want to make your computer work for you, not against you. I founded J-Bit Tech to help you feel happy and confident with your technology. Not only do I want to fix your computer but I want to help you understand it so that, together, we can build a better technological community in Albuquerque.

At J-BIT we offer lessons, e-books, blogs, and videos to help you learn to use technology to your advantage rather than having it slow you down. We are also a full-service computer repair shop, no matter how large or small the job may be. If your computer isn't working and you don't know what to do, give me a call. I'm always happy to help.

Josh has long loved taking things apart and putting them back together. He's perfected the craft of putting things back together without having any "extra" parts at the end, and he's very proud of that fact.

Dylan is powered by hydration, games (video and tabletop), and a deep appreciation for other people’s stories. Off the clock, he enjoys hiking, music, and attempting to play games while his three cats supervise.

Jadin is known for being quiet, patient, and a good listener. She enjoys spending time with her three cats and turtle, playing video games, working out, and listening to music. She values teamwork, staying positive, and creating a supportive environment for those around her.

Laura Hosek

Office Coordinator

Customer service pro by day, theatre enthusiast, animal whisperer, and full-time goofball by night. She specializes in turning tricky situations into smooth solutions — ideally with a smile and minimal hold music. When she's not making customers' days a little brighter, you’ll find me cracking bad puns, chatting with animals like they’re old friends, or whipping up some green chile enchiladas.

Magdelene Gallegos

For all things Admin, Magdelene is your gal! For the last 20 years she has worked in Administrative Coordination, Office Management, and Human Resources. She has been with J-BIT TECH for a year and a half and has loved getting to know the regular clients. She looks forward to meeting more, so give her a call to schedule an appointment!

Michael Ellis

Website Support

Michael Ellis is a content creator and designer with First Click Digital Marketing. He is also an educator and artist. He has taught writing, art, design and digital media classes since 2005 and earned his MFA in Studio Art in 2020. A member of IATSE Local 480, Michael did special effects for the NM film industry for five years. He is a Harvey Award-nominated comic artist and the creator behind Cletus the Defeatist, your favorite comic about fug, darkness and torpor.

Official Office Greeter / Alarm System

Ms. Moneypenny, Penny for short, loves treats and pets, but especially treats. She doesn't much care for computer repair but does like the attention that comes with greeting customers.
